Tony Kgoroge, President of Cultural and Creative Industries Federation of South Africa (CCIFSA), says his organisation supports the changes to the SABC’s programmes with regard to airing 90 percent of local content.
It is the decision of the board of the SABC, as guided by our own government for its own people. This is not a new journey, the creative industry has been facing the brunt of poverty and suffering since the dawn of democracy.— Tony Kgoroge, leader of CCIFSA.
702land weighed in on the issue with some condemning it and some supporting it:
@Radio702 I can support some good things SABC is doing but not showing news is too far...— Ross Howard (@rossmannn) July 4, 2016
