The ANC's integrity committee reportedly found that the ANC Western Cape leader, Marius Fransman, has brought the party into disrepute for his alleged sexual assault case of a 21-year-old woman Louisa Wynand in January.
According to Eye Witness News reporter Rahima Essop, Fransman intends on challenging the committee's findings that he has brought the party into disrepute.
Essop says the National as well as the provincial spokesperson of the ANC are refusing to comment on the leaked report saying they'll have to deal with matter internally.
On the other hand Fransman says that he hasn't heard from the committee and is very angry that he had to learn about his fate through the media saying its a violation of his rights.
It is reported that the commission has made recommendations that Fransman immediately vacate his position as ANC leader in the province.
It also recommended that he relinquish all elected positions and that he should not be eligible to be nominated as a public representative for at least two years
