Bank statements hold crucial information with regards to payments to take down the Turkish government. Prosecutors there say bank statements show that people were paid extraordinary amounts of money for the failed coup attempt.

More than 6 000 arrests have been made and these include members of the judiciary, high ranking officials and those in state institutions.

I live under the bridge that was blocked off from the Asian and European side where you could hear gunshots through the entire morning. It was extremely scary... people were panic stricken and trying to get provisions.

I have never witnessed such democracy and patriotism in action where young and old, women, going shoulder to shoulder to disarm soldiers in army tanks.
