WATCH: Cameraman's moving tribute to the 'amazing and caring' Gugu Zulu

Camera operator Matthew Bow, who worked for the National Rally TV for the past eight years, says the memories he shared with the late South African race driver, Gugu Zulu, will never fade.

In a description uploaded with the video on YouTube, Bow, describes Zulu as one of the most kind people he has met while capturing moments of the National Rally crew.

The short conversations between us and the way the crowd went wild when he hit the stage will never fade from my memory.

Matthew Bow, camera operator

I was a camera operator on the National Rally TV crew for the past 8 years with Plan-C Productions, and through all those years only one driver ever came up to me and asked what my name was, talked and apologized jokingly about covering me in dirt and stones and waiting in the pouring rain to capture his magic in action. That driver was Gugu and that meant the world to me.

Words can not begin to describe just how amazing, kind and caring Gugu Zulu was and his passing has sent shock waves through all the lives of people he touched and were honored to have met him in person.
