Voters can be assured of a seamless process at voting stations for the 2016 local government elections.
The Inter-Ministerial Committee on Local Government Elections met on Tuesday to look at the various municipalities' state of readiness to conduct free and fair elections in a safe environment after the spate of political killings.

South Africans who are registered to vote will take to the polls on August 3. Voting stations open at 7am and close at 7pm. Special votes will be conducted by the IEC on August 3rd and 4th.
