US comedian Orlando Jones talks racism, Trevor Noah and his SA show

Stand-up comedian, Orlando Jones, has returned to South Africa to perform and spoke about his challenges as a black man in his country, the United States.

The 'Stand Up and Laugh with Orlando Jones' event is organised by television comedy channel, Comedy Central.

In his interview with John Robbie he weighed-in on Trevor Noah's success and racial tensions in his home country while drawing parallels between South Africa and the US.

In light of the killing of black men at the hands of police officials, Jones said the racial tensions in the US were nothing new as racism was part of his lived experience as a black man.

It's been going on my entire life, it never stopped... Hopefully, we're moving in the right direction.
