Local organisation attempting to contact 9 SA Muslims deported from Namibia

A group of 9 Muslims were deported from Namibia during a prayer service.

Iqbal Jassat of the Media Review Network, joins Stephen Grootes and says they have been able to ascertain that this report is correct.

Nine South African Muslims from Cape Town had valid visas to visit Namibia. They were there for a couple of days when they were accosted at a Mosque in Keetmanshoop

Iqbal Jassat, Media Review Network

Jassat says issues around their visas were used as a pretext to take them into custody and have them deported.

He says they are trying to make contact with the group of nine.
