Thulsie twins bail application postponed

The bail application of twin brothers Brandon-Lee and Tony-Lee Thulsie was postponed until Tuesday, because the defence team was not ready to proceed, according to EWN reporter, Gia Nicolaides.

The outgoing defence team wan't present to hand over to the new lawyer, Advocate Annelene van den Heevervan, Radovan Krejcir's former lawyer.

Nicolaides says the family has not revealed why the legal team was changed.

Heevervan argued she hasn't seen the amended charge sheet against the Thulsie twins. The Magistrate argued that the state is not obliged to receive documents at this stage.

We have see that amended charge sheet. And really what it does is that it amends part of count one of the terrorism charges, to say that the twins had planned or attempted to deliver and place explosives, and discharge these explosives at public spaces.

Gia Nicolaides, EWN reporter

It just a slight amendment to the original charge sheet.
