#ThingsMmusiDid sets Twitter alight

A new hashtag on Twitter teasing DA leader, Mmusi Maimane and his party's politicking, after he said he voted for Madiba in 1999, is doing the rounds.

After one tweet from Home Affairs spokesperson, Mayihlome Tshwete, questioning how the Democratic Alliance (DA) leader, Mmusi Maimane voted for Former President Nelson Mandela in 1999, the #ThingsMmusiDid took off like wildfire.

While campaigning for his party at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto, Maimane said he voted for the African National Congress (ANC) in 1999 for Nelson Mandela.

Hilarious #ThingsMmusiDid tweets then followed... and is currently trending in South Africa on Twitter.
