Three ministers ordered Mapisa-Nqakula to act against #RememberKhwezi protesters

Three ministers demanded the defense minister, Nosiviwe Mapisa Nqakula, to act against the #RememberKhwezi protesters during the president's election briefing at the IEC national results centre.

Sunday Times political journalist, Qaanitah Hunter, says the three ministers, Nomvula Mokonyane, Bathabile Dlamini and Lindiwe Zulu, were screaming at the defense minister to do something to get protesters removed.

Hunter says Zulu was saying the defense minister has enough power to 'sort' out the situation herself.

With Bathabile Dlamini really being vocal about this, saying what kind of democracy is this? How can they allow this to the happen. Where was the Intelligence?

Qaanitah Hunter, Sunday Times political journalist

Mostly angry at the fact that the defense minister didn’t give the instruction that to say Zuma's security should just go push those girls away.

Qaanitah Hunter, Sunday Times political journalist

It seems, from what I heard from the defense minister spokesperson, that she couldn't do anything about it.
