Khoza says committee decided Public Protector interviews to be done in one day

Chairperson of the ad hoc Parliamentary committee responsible for finding new Public Protector, Dr. Makhosi Khoza, says the committee would also like to hear public views on the interviews of the new public protector.

Khoza says they will continue to ensure that the process is transparent and participatory.

However, have a been a lot of criticism about Parliament's decision to interview all 14 Public Protector candidates in one day.

In fact even the date of this 14 candidates came up in a meeting where the DA was present, not even a single political party objected to that.
