A statement by the ANC National Executive Committee (NEC), that it takes collective responsibility for the party’s disappointing election results, is a clear indication that President Jacob Zuma is going nowhere.
This is according to political analyst Professor Tinyiko Maluleke, who says that party leadership would have to take themselves to task either way.

According to Maluleke, the ANC has made no new resolutions following the four-day NEC meeting on election results.
He says that its highly unlikely that Zuma will be recalled amid speculation.
