Survivors of the 2012 Marikana Massacre are yet to be compensated by government, despite The Presidency's claim to expedite the the process in September 2015.
According to the lawyer representing the 200 injured miners, Andries Nkome, little has improved for the miners and their families since the tragic 12 August 2012 incident which caused international outcry over police brutality.
702's John Robbie spoke to Nkome regarding what has happened to the families of the 200 miners since the incident.
Since the tragic incident, the Marikana Commission of Inquiry (headed by retired judge Ian Farlam) looked into the matter and published its' findings and recommendations.
