Minister in the Presidency, Jeff Radebe, urged all South African's and political parties to make the National Development Plan's 2030 vision a reality.

We are part of the global economy and since 2008 there's been an economic downturn. We cannot lie down and die. The Minister of Finance has gone around the world so people understand these programmes in South Africa.

Radebe used the example of a young man in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape who mobilised small farmer growers associations to provide vegetables for the community.
