Rosita Mabuiango's dramatic birth drew international attention to the havoc wreaked by the floods in Mozambique in 2000. Minutes after her delivery, a South African soldier was lowered into the tree and cut her umbilical cord.
In 2010, 'Baby Rosita' turned 10 years-old ...
She was invited to Parliament by then Minister of Defence, Lindiwe Sisulu where she finally met the man who plucked her out of the tree 10 years ago, warrant officer Tshikiwa Nengovhela.
The BBC's Andrew Harding caught up with Rosita and her family 10 years ago, he wrote this blog after that encounter.
