Expect a warmer, drier summer

Scientist from the SA Weather Service, Cobus Olivier, says temperatures this summer are expected to be warmer and conditions drier than in previous years.

He said while there was some indication of rainfall, there will be a clearer reading in September/ October.

Drought persistence remains high and full on relief will take a couple of years.
