Apple sent out invitations to an upcoming 7 September event, drumming up excitement with the tagline "See you on the 7th."
Some industry watchers think that's a play on words for the expected name of the new iPhone, the "iPhone 7."
Apple has reported two straight quarters of year-over-year revenue declines and there are questions about demand for a device that remains the company’s main source of profit.
Apple hopes faster iPhones with significant camera improvements will prop up sales ahead of an expected larger overhaul in 2017 for the device’s 10th anniversary. It's also set to release a faster Apple Watch with GPS to try to re-ignite interest in that nascent category.
Berlin Radio Show
The IFA or Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (International radio exhibition Berlin, aka 'Berlin Radio Show') is one of the oldest industrial exhibitions in Germany.
Between 1924 and 1939 it was an annual event, but from 1950 it was organized on a two yearly basis until 2005.
Since then it has become an annual event again, held in September. Today it is one of world's leading trade shows for consumer electronics and home appliances.
This year we saw innovation in the connected smart home, virtual reality, new televisions, smartphones, ultrathin laptops and tablets.
The LG X Cam
The LG X Cam is mid-range phone with a strong focus on the camera.
The 13MP wide angle camera lens can capture images of up to 120 degrees. The 5.2-inch smartphone also comes with additional software that can add effects to your photographs.
The picture image quality is impressive and this is what the phone delivers best.
