“Spine-chilling, sadistic and disturbing,” The apt words of Mondli Makhanya from the City Press used to describe the rape of the teenager at Jan Kempdorp School in the Northern Cape. Perpetrators of this heinous act were joined by onlookers who filmed and laughed during the teenager’s ordeal.

We need a national therapy session, where the country’s psyche will be fully diagnosed and treated.
