What happens in Cabinet stays in Cabinet - Zwane

Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane says matters discussed within the Cabinet are not public.

Zwane was answering questions in Parliament following his statement saying the Cabinet has agreed to establish a judicial inquiry into four banks which cut ties with the Gupta family business, Oakbay Investments.

Opposition party, the Democratic Alliance, asked the minister when he would be resigning from his position, but Zwane said the DA has no jurisdiction to ask him to resign.

Let me place it on record that in terms of our well established separation of powers, this matter belongs to the Cabinet and not Parliament.
