President Zuma and BRICS leaders under attack by white capitalists: Mngxitama

Black First Land First National Convenor Andile Mngxitama says that there needs to be a change in the narrative in South Africa, where political squabbling is looked at more than the country's economic and land ownership.

Let us stop the politics because the white system keeps us fighting amongst ourselves

Andile Mngxitama, Black First Land First National Convenor

According to Black First Land First, white capitalists are behind campaigns to remove President Jacob Zuma from office.

The black consciousness political party is instead calling for the country to focus on economic liberation instead of the political obsession of the relationship between President Zuma and the Guptas.

Speaking to #NightTalk's Gugs Mhlungu and Sizwe Dhlomo, Mngxitama says that the idea that President Zuma and the Guptas are the reasons behind South Africa's problems is not true.

He says this is preventing the opportunity to fully address issues which have long been the cause of problems in the country.

Mngxitama says that white capitalists want to attempt to repeat a system where they put in place a leader who can be their puppet.

The leaders linked to the BRICS process are under attack

Andile Mngxitama, Black First Land First National Convenor

Citing the challenging political situation in Brazil, where President Dilma Rousseff was recently impeached and removed from office, Mngxitama says that BRICS nations are under siege from white capitalist power.

He says that the the furore around President Zuma and the Guptas in the country is a further example of this siege.

We see imperialism has come out in a very naked way
