iPhone 7 launch a sneak peek into wireless future, says tech guru

Wednesday night saw the much anticipated release of Apple's iPhone 7.

As predicted, the device has ditched the analogue headphone jack in a move towards a wireless technology era, says Technobyte presenter, Aki Anastasiou.

Anastasiou explains that the wireless earphones are built in with a battery and smart sensor which automatically switches off music when they are removed from one's ears.

The wireless earphones are Bluetooth enabled and Apple CEO Tim Cook says it's the best iPhone ever created.

The wireless headphones will have to be charged separately and will have five hours worth of power.

The alternative option will be for users to plug in an adapter plug into the port used to charge the cellphone device.
