We’re lobbying SA Inc to plant trees for Africa (please help us spread the word)

We pledge 100 trees.

Francois du Plessis, Vega Asset Management

We pledge 101 trees, and we’ll make it an annual donation.

Philip Lidgey, Odyssey Capital Managers

The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Food & Trees for Africa Executive Director Christopher Wild.

Wild spoke about Arbor Month and his NGO's mission to green South Africa while Whitfield lobbied corporate South Africa to donate some trees.

Whitfield also spoke to Vega Asset Management Managing Director Francois du Plessis and Odyssey Capital Managers’ Philip Lidgey.

Both Du Plessis and Lidgey pledged their help.

It’s not only corporates that can contribute – anyone can! And every tree counts…

You donate R130 which buys the following:

  • A tree of a minimum height of 1.5 metres.

  • Monitoring of newly planted trees (at week one, six months and one year) to ensure they survive

If you can’t donate, but feel moved to help, please share this article with your friends and/or colleagues.

You cannot separate the economy and the environment. Business needs to look after the environment. We make it very possible for companies to plant trees and mitigate their carbon footprint.

Christopher Wild, Food & Trees for Africa

We also plant fruit trees, because you can’t separate food security from the environment.

Christopher Wild, Food & Trees for Africa

Look us up on the web. We’ll help you through the process of donating; a tree costs R130. Every tree counts!
