The deputy finance minister and Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan were meeting the SAA board today to discuss the strategy and plans moving forward.
Deputy Finance Minister Mcebisi Jonas says it was an inaugural meeting of the board, and the main priority at the moment is to make sure that the South African Airwaves (SAA) get financial stability.
Jonas emphasises clear separations of duties and roles, and says the board should be looked at collectively.
