Krish Naidoo speaks out about his resignation from SABC board

Attorney and now former SABC board member, Krish Naidoo, says a lot of good people will leave the SABC if the governance is allowed to degenerate further.

Naidoo says Motsoeneng should have left the SABC offices after the Supreme Court dismissed his leave to appeal the High Court ruling which effectively set aside his permanent appointment.

About two years I have got the impression that governance at the SABC board level was starting to erode by the various ways in which decisions were taken.

Krish Naidoo and Vusi Mavuso announced their resignation in front of Parliament's portfolio committee on communications today.

The SABC board appeared before the committee over Motsoeneng's re-appointment as the head of corporate affairs despite court findings that he was unfit.
