SABC board chairman 'not going anywhere'

Chairperson on the SABC board Prof. Mbulaheni Maguvhe has announced that he is 'not going anywhere'. He says the inquiry into the board should put an end suspicions.

Yesterday Chairperson of the Parliament Portfolio Committee on Communications, Humphrey Maxegwana, said they will send letters to the remaining board members asking them to resign.

Two board members Krish Naidoo and Vusi Mavuso resigned yesterday when they appeared before the committee over Hlaudi Motsoeneng's re-appointment as the head of corporate affairs despite court findings that he was unfit.

Motsoeneng and Maguvhe said they are not leaving the SABC, and accused the committee of 'bullying tactics'.
