Hlaudi Motsoeneng gets another senior position at SABC - reports

EWN reports that the SABC group executive for corporate affairs, Hlaudi Motsoeneng, now has the role of executive responsible for radio.

EWN reporter Barry Bateman says EWN has got confirmation from sources inside the SABC that Motsoeneng told radio staff that they will be reporting to him as from today.

That role of group executive responsible for radio which was held by Leslie Ntloko who resigned last week has now been shifted under the responsibility of Hlaudi Motsoeneng.

Yesterday SABC board chairperson, Prof. Mbulaheni Maguvhe announced that he is going anywhere, following the statement made by the Chairperson of the Parliament Portfolio Committee on Communications, Humphrey Maxegwana, that SABC board members will have to resign.

Two board members Krish Naidoo and Vusi Mavuso resigned on Wednsday when they appeared before the committee over Motsoeneng's re-appointment as the head of corporate affairs despite court findings that he was unfit.
