South Africa's first dance film making waves

This weekend marked the Premiere of South Africa's first ever dance film. It has caused a buzz on social media, Azania and Africa spoke to producer, Wandile Molebatsi to find out how the film has fared at the Box Office.

Coal Stove Features' latest work _Hear Me Move _launched this weekend in cinemas across South Africa. The film was recently screened at the Cannes and London Film Festivals before in hit South African cinemas.

Produced by actor, Wandile Molebatsi and Fidel Namisi, the film features well known South African names including renowned actress, Lillian Dube and comedian, Trevor Ncube.

The film also introduces two fresh new faces to South African audiences in the form of leads, Nyaniso Dzedze and Bontle Modiselle.

Producer, Molebatsi says that the movie was made to show the world that Johannesburg is "a global, African city" and the movie shows the rich fashion, music and dance culture of South Africa.
