Ben Turok: Madonsela is a person of enormous character

ANC (African National Congress) stalwart Ben Turok has described Public Protector Thuli Madonsela as a "person of enormous character" who stood firm against those who questioned her powers.

This comes after President Jacob Zuma and Minister Des van Rooyen expressed their intention to interdict her from revealing her report on state capture, which she was due deliver today.

She has been a model, she has been the most outstanding person in this country for years. She's standing up to the president and very few people are willing to do that.
