Dis-Chem #702Brain is the 2015 Brain of Brains!

Northgate resident Shaun Goodbrand won The Dis-Chem Brain of 702 semifinals on Saturday, 28 February after securing his place through the wildcard round at Sandton City.

After calmly winning the finals, Shaun explained that he was incredibly nervous on the inside while trying to show a calm exterior. He mentioned that his winnings, which tallied R40 000 will go towards a family vacation somewhere in Africa.

Ahead of the on-air finals he brushed up on his general knowledge by doing a crossword puzzle. Spelling and geography seem to be his strong points, while he admits music is his shortfall.

He beat Brain of Cape Talk Nazreen Faki to claim the title Brain of Brains.

The annual competition gives those with a brilliant bank of general knowledge a chance to cash in and show off, both on-air and in front of a live audience at the weekly mall activations.

Watch all the action as it unfolded on 702 with John Robbie and on Cape Talk with Kieno Kammies.

The Dis-Chem Brain of 702/CapeTalk is one of South Africa’s longest running quiz shows and this year gave away a total of R390 000.
