Gauteng Education to help schools change colonial and apartheid names

Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi says apartheid names such as that of former Prime Minister Hendrick Verwoerd should not be embraced in schools.

Panyaza says this is going to be a prolonged process because many stakeholders are involved, but the department is committed to doing it within the law.
