Wits students to meet with former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela

University of Witwatersrand students protesting for free decolonised education for all are set to have a mass meeting to discuss a way forward.

The meeting will include former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela.

EWN reporter at Wits, Matshepo Chiloane, says students have expressed their disappointment in the Johannesburg Magistrate Court's decision to deny bail former Wits SRC President Mcebo Dlamini.

Students are a bit divided, some want to pick up arms and fight back, some of them are saying let's rather be strategic on this. There was a mass meeting, and as we understand there will be another meeting including former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela.
