SA Rugby Coaches' Indaba to kickstart new direction for rugby

The SA Rugby Coaches' Indaba hopes to begin unravelling the challenges plaguing the industry over it's two-day conference in Cape Town.

Speaking to 702's John Robbie, head of the conference Brendan Venter says that stakeholders involved in the sporting fraternity will bring their knowledge and skills amassed over the years to benefit South Africa's rugby.

Brendan Venter, head of SA Rugby Coaches' Indaba

Venter said the conversation regarding how to develop rugby further through progressive coaching will continue after the conference as various avenues are pursued.

The aim of the conference is to uphold high standards and facilitate interaction between different areas of the rugby business.

Listen to the conversation below:

We're going to allow people to put out the other things we think are wrong and hopefully SA Rugby will then sit down and invite people who can change those things.
