Cape Town listed best value long-haul destination by UK report

Cape Town has been announced as the best value long-haul destination in the world in the 2016 UK Post Office Travel Money Report.

While the Mother City continues to enjoy a big international travel audience, locals are often priced out of the market. However, there is always something for everyone in the scenic coastal city.

702's John Robbie spoke to CEO of Cape Town Tourism, Enver Duminy, on what travellers can enjoy.

He said that the industry has recovered from what he called a "triple threat" in 2015, which are ebola, new visa requirements and xenophobia.
