Travellers 4-hour wait at OR Tambo airport

Thousands of visitors have been waiting for up to four hours to enter and leave South Africa through OR Tambo International Airport, causing major delays for international travellers.

Speaking to 702's John Robbie, Comair CEO Erik Venter, said that the Department of Home Affairs claimed to be understaffed to process the biometric immigration documents.

He said that the Minister of Tourism was communicating with the department to do damage control.
