Xolani's Daily Comment: Baleka Mbete

National Assembly, Baleka Mbete admitted at a private gathering with journalists yesterday that she “lost it” in Parliament the day that the EFF caused an upheaval in Parliament asking if they could have their money back.

She needs to do an introspection and ask herself if the opposition parties’ argument that she cannot chair Parliament but at the same time be the national chairperson of the ANC because one will certainly affect the other, is a valid one? Ask herself the question “wait a minute, am I still willing to occupy both these roles?”

As Baleka Mbete turns 65 today I’d like to wish her a Happy Birthday, and advise her to listen to her grandchildren. I think they are smart.Choose. Do you want to be the Speaker of the National Assembly? Do you want tobe the Speaker of Parliament? Making this choice should give you more time to spend with your grandchildren. They seem to have good advice for her.
