Jubane Telecoms and Odd Wine Out setting themselves apart from the rest

Entrepreneur Corner looks at budding companies, Odd Wine Out and Jubane Telecoms, as they share their experience of exploring starting their own businesses.

Odd Wine Out's business offering customises boutique wine brands that will leave a lasting impression on consumers.

Jubane Telecoms provides managed telecommunications solutions and is also a network aggregator for businesses.

702/Cape Talk's Eusebius McKaiser (standing in for Redi Tlhabi) speaks to the respective companies' founders, Sashin Naidoo and Sharon Cao, about taking the plunge and never turning back.

Having a keen interest in developing South Africa's digital or e-commerce industry, Sashin Naidoo was concerned with the limitations to full participation due to lack of digital access.

As much as the digital economy is growing, we also need to address the number of people who can participate in it.

Sashin Naidoo, Jubane Telecoms

Despite coming from an entrepreneurial family, her parents still expected her to enter corporate life after completing Bachelor of Social Sciences degree.

Because it's from boutique wine farms, you won't find the wine at a retail store... This is not a wine that was bought and re-labelled.
