Faith healers and prophets are likely to get a lot more scrutiny following the collapse of TB Joshua's accommodation on the grounds of his church in Nigeria.
Local pastor Lesego Daniel, who told his followers to eat grass in March went a step further by offering petrol at his service saying it would be turned into pineapple juice. The video was posted on Tuesday of the service that took place on 31 August.

While regulations exist for who may register as a church, there does not seem to be much to prevent pastors making claims about what they can do. It seems a better system is needed to protect those taken in by the outrageous claims of self proclaimed pastors.

It is not surprising to see why the latest one was created as the three videos that have the most views are the ones that include the bizarre claims. Besides the petrol and grass videos the other popular post is a much older one which has "miracle weight loss" in the title.
