The ANC needs to change and fight corruption - Paul Mashatile

Gauteng ANC chairperson Paul Mashatile has joined other leaders who gathered at St Albans Cathedral in Pretoria for the #SaveSouthAfrica mass meeting.

In his speech Mashatile told attendees that the battle is not yet won and there is no time to relax because those that are on a mission to pull this country down will continue to do so.

The Save South Africa movement you are not alone in the fight. We are with you in the fight against corruption and we are with you in the fight against state capture.

Paul Mashatile, Gauteng ANC chairperson

Mashatile says the ANC in Gauteng wants to stand with fellow South Africans fighting for 'the right things'. The ANC cannot stand aside when South Africans are saying there is a problem of corruption and state capture, he says.

The results of the local government elections are a clear message that South Africans are saying this is not the ANC that we know and we must change, says Mashatile.

Chairman of Telkom South Africa Limited, Jabulane Mabuza is one of the organisers of the Save South Africa meeting.

He says his involvement as Business Unity South Africa is to confirm the commitment embodied in the pledge that was signed recently.

We are here to call for an end to corruption and the need for government to root it out wherever it finds it.

Jabulane Mabuza, Chairman of Telkom South Africa Limited

He says this is not a mission to remove President Zuma from office because they believe there are constitutional ways to remove and put president into office.
