EFF march: stun grenades, rubber bullets fired at Union buildings

Police have opened fire on demonstrators at the EFF march outside the Union Buildings in Pretoria.

EFF leader Julius Malema led the group to the official seat of the national government after addressing them at Church Square.

Upon arrival, it's reported that some EFF supporters wanted to force themselves into the Union Buildings.

The demonstrators have been surrounded by a strong police presence since this morning.
