Caller bursts into tears in reaction to state capture report

Madonsela's term in office ended in October amid suspicions that Zuma didn't want to details of the report to come to light.

South Africans have lauded Thuli Madonsela for her work in detailing a litany of incidents related to reports of state capture.

The former Public Protector's State of Capture report was released yesterday after the Pretoria High Court instructed it be released into the public domain by 5pm deadline.

This after President Jacob Zuma and ministers Des van Rooyen and Mosebenzi Zwane attempted to interdict the release of the report.

Expressing her joy at the truth finally being exposed, a caller on The John Robbie Show couldn't hold back her tears.

Her reaction has highlighted the impact that the issue has had on ordinary South Africans.
