Tweeps poke fun at Brian Molefe's #SaxonwoldShebeen

As we head in to the weekend, tweeps have been trying to locate the whereabouts of the now infamous #SaxonwoldShebeen, to have a cold one or two.

Eskom CEO Brian Molefe created a Twitter frenzy after he claimed to be frequenting a shebeen in Saxonwold on Thursday.

Molefe was refuting claims, made in the state of capture report, that he visited the controversial Gupta family on several occasions.

The report alleges that cellphone evidence between Molefe and the Guptas places him at their residence in Saxonwold 14 times.

During an Eskom briefing, he light-heartedly suggested that the reason he was in the Johannesburg suburb was to visit the shebeen there.

Since Molefe's statement, social media has been making fun of the imaginary hang out.
