14 November 2016 7:59 AM

The eight journalists were suspended earlier this year after raising concerns about the public broadcaster's editorial policy.

One of the eight SABC (South African Broadcast Corporation) journalists who brought a Constitutional Court case against the organisation fears for her life.

SABC senior radio producer, Suna Venter, spoke to 702's John Robbie about incidents of intimidation aimed at deterring the eight journalists from pursuing the case.

The journalists, one of them being Vuyo Mvoko, brought the case after being suspended for seeking clarity on the editorial policy of the public broadcaster over concerns of censorship. They were re-instated a few weeks later.

Suna Venter, SABC journalist

She said her house has been broken into twice, her car being shot at four times on a drive home from work and a string of threatening messages sent to her since August.

None of the journalists are receiving police protection.
