Gift of the Givers founder recognised with Global Citizen Award

Gift of the Givers Foundation founder, Dr Imtiaz Sooliman, has been awarded the annual Global Citizen Award in recognition of his work in the non-profit sector.

The award by international advisory firm Henly & Partners is bestowed on "individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to improving the global community".

702's John Robbie spoke to him regarding his recent accomplishment and his plans to continue giving back. He also spoke of a conversation that led him to his life's calling.

He said he was delighted at the recognition for his work as it introduces a new narrative to the good work being done in African countries.
