Molewa: Don't cast aspersions against Mahlobo

Minister of Environmental Affairs, Edna Molewa, is attending the 22nd Conference of the Parties (COP22) in what is said to be a historic meeting in Morroco.

Preparing for the conference in Marrakech, she spoke to 702's John Robbie about the significance of the international gathering.

The meeting will map a way forward on the implementation process of previous environmental agreements made by participating countries.

What are the kinds of actions do we need to take to count the emission reductions in each and every country to prepare ourselves.

Edna Molewa, Minister of Environmental Affairs

High on the agenda at the conference will be the United Nationals Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Responding to allegations of Minister David Mahlobo's involvement in a rhino poaching syndicate, she said that it was important to establish clear links before taking action.

This requires thorough scrutiny as an issue. I don't want us to conclude and cast aspersions on Minister Mahlobo.
