Hawks to take Mahlobo's statement over rhino poaching allegations

Hawks are planning to take a statement from Minister of State Security David Mahlobo following allegations linking him to rhino poaching.

This follows an Al Jazeera documentary‚ The Poachers Pipeline, which showed a Chinese national, who is a rhino horn trafficker, saying he has connections with State Security Minister David Mahlobo.

Hawks spokesperson, Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi, says Hawks are trying to make sure that Guan Jiang Guang does not escape the country.

Mulaudzi says the Hawks are working hard to make a case against Guang.
