Mashaba points finger at Zuma's VIP unit for friend's death

City of Joburg mayor, Herman Mashaba, has blamed a member of President Jacob Zuma's security detail for the death of a friend over the weekend.

Taking to twitter on Saturday, he challenged SA Police Service (SAPS) to release the details of the vehicle that allegedly hit Solly Moutlana in Hatfield, Pretoria.

However, the Presidency has denied any involvement of a presidential motorcade in the alleged incident.

Cape Talk's Kieno Kammies spoke to Mashaba regarding recent developments since the tragic death.
