Naas Botha weighs in on Springbok woes

The Springboks lost to Italy over the weekend, continuing their losing streak. And fans are up in arms.

Former bok fly-half and rugby commentator Naas Botha offers up his opinion on the Springbok woes.

There are so many question marks, especially after the weekend. We should have beaten Italy...by at least 20 points.

He does not believe it is poor attitude on the part of the players.

I don't believe any coach would pick a team that he know is going to lose, and secondly no player runs on the field to play badly. That's why I am trying to say there are a couple of issues we need to address.

The problem for me at the moment is whatever we do, is not working. The question we have to ask now...what can we do to rectify the mistakes?

Botha says decisions must be made that are best for rugby and not for individuals.
