Tiger Brands to ask 'Doom Prophet' to stop using their product

Tiger Brands says it is in the process of contacting Pastor Lethebo Rabalago to warn him about dangers of using Doom insect poison onto people's faces and ask him to refrain from such practice.

Rabalago says he received an instruction from God to use Doom 'to deliver and heal people'.

The Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities (CRL) says it cannot take any action until someone has laid a complaint against Rabalago.

According to EWN reporter Ziyanda Ngcobo, The Human Rights Commission is also not conducting a probe because the issue is under CRL.

There is not much that anyone can do until there is an outcry from his congregants.
