[WATCH] #BlackFriday gridlocked traffic to malls, buyers scuffle over wares

South Africans across the country have have taken to the the United States #BlackFriday tradition with a vengeance.

EWN reporter Kgotatsto Mogale in Woodmead says some buyers are fighting over wares as retailers offer promotional sales.

What we have seen here at Woodmead in Makro is absolutely crazy. We have cars parked at the side of the road. It took us about 40 minutes to get into the shopping centre just to get parking.

He says most people are purchasing luxury goods, as opposed to groceries, and some products are already out of stock.
