Fake Shoprite promo leaves #BlackFriday revellers disappointed

A hoax promotional flyer has been circulating on social media, suggesting that Shoprite South Africa would be be giving major #BlackFriday giveaways.

But the retailer has confirmed that it would not be participating in today's shopping extravaganza in the country.

They are however running their regular weekly specials.

The leaflets have been doing the rounds on social media, advertising ridiculous savings - which it turns out are too good to be true.
